PROVIDING ESSENTIALS WITH Care

Navigating the medical landscape is overwhelming, it's intensified when access to kosher food, religious items, and other basic needs are limited.

We are dedicated to facilitating those needs, ensuring that every individual has what they need, when they need it most.

EFFICIENT & CARING Services

Our volunteers work daily, addressing the physical and spiritual needs of those experiencing medical challenges. Here are some services we provide to our community members:

VISITING THE SICK & ELDERLY

We visit people of all ages in hospitals, care facilities, or at home, offering encouragement and comfort for the days ahead.
MWI - MATERNAL WELLNESS INITIATIVE

We support women through pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum recovery. This includes a dedicated Ambassador, gift bags for new mothers, Mommy & Me classes, and educational lectures.

DELIVERING KOSHER MEALS

We prepare Shabbos meals for hospitalized people, lunches for parents of hospitalized children, & dinners and Shabbos meals for families experiencing medical circumstances.
PROVIDING MEDICAL EQUIPMENT

We offer medical equipment for loan: wheelchairs, walkers, canes, crutches, and bathroom equipment for people with compromised abilities.

RESPITE SERVICES

Our volunteers visit patients or assist with errands & household tasks, providing family members some time to take care of other essential needs.
ACCOMMODATIONS

We provide arrangements for families receiving medical treatment, including accommodations at our Ohel Rephoel condo near Corewell Health.

MODEST HOSPITAL GOWNS

We offer modest hospital gowns to borrow for medical appointments or hospital stays.
RIDES

Our volunteers help patients get to and from their appointments.

This hospital has a dedicated Bikur Cholim room with a well-stocked kosher fridge, freezer and cabinets, library, and religious items. A comfortable seating area with recliners is available for family members to rest and recharge.
